10 Ways to Make Money Online

10 Ways to Make Money Online                                                                                                                                                                                                                              With the internet being such an integral part of most people’s lives these days, it’s easier than ever to make money online. There are numerous legitimate ways to make money online, and there are also plenty of scams out there that can take your hard-earned cash and leave you with nothing in return. If you want to make money online, follow these ten tips from an expert who has worked in this industry for many years and make sure to avoid the common pitfalls that lead to failure. Let’s start!

1) Become an Amazon Affiliate

There are a lot of online money-making platforms out there, but one of my favorites is Amazon. As an Amazon affiliate, you earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through your affiliate link. So you can send some traffic their way, and if they end up buying something new they’ll send a commission your way. There are also plenty of other ways to add value as an Amazon affiliate.

2) Get Freelance Work on Upwork

You may have heard of  Elance, Odesk, and other job-listing sites that help freelancers find short-term work. But one of our favorite sites for freelancers is Upwork. This site offers a variety of jobs for writers, graphic designers, IT professionals, and more—and it doesn’t cost you anything to sign up or bid on jobs.

3) Create a Course

Video courses are a great way to make some extra cash or even a full-time income. You don’t need any experience at all and you can do it with zero start-up costs. In fact, I made $3,780 in 2 months without having any experience in creating video courses.

 4) Get Sponsored Posts

Many bloggers are sponsored by brands and businesses who want to put their products in front of a new audience. As a blogger, you can offer them free marketing and get paid for your work. Start by reaching out to businesses that might be interested in working with you and let them know why they should pay you instead of another blogger. (For tips on how to get started with sponsored posts, check out our guide here.)

5) Take Part in Influencer Marketing

Are you a thought leader in your field? You can leverage that influence by becoming an influencer or brand ambassador for companies in exchange for money. Take part in affiliate marketing, too: where you get a commission on the sales of products. All you have to do is create content surrounding your brand, and they pay you to make it.

6) Sell Photos on Shutterstock

Shutterstock is one of the largest stock photo sites in America, and it’s one of my favorites. When you sign up with Shutterstock, you can upload your own work—and once it gets approved, you earn royalties every time a photo from your collection is purchased by a user. The best part? You can sell photos for as little as $2! With Shutterstock, there are no limits on how much money you can make—all depending on how much work you want to put into selling photos. This could be an awesome way to monetize your photography hobby. For more information, check out How to Sell Photos Online Using Stock Photo Sites like Shutterstock and iStock Photo.

7) Use Fiverr

Fiverr is an online marketplace for a wide variety of services. Sign up, take a look around, and start offering your services! Freelancing isn’t just something college students do while they’re in school; it’s a great way to pick up some extra money after you leave school, too.

8) Review Products On Amazon

An easy way to make a bit of cash online is by leaving reviews on products you have bought. Amazon rewards people with a small fee every time they leave a review, making it well worth signing up for one if you shop regularly. Some people do multiple reviews per day, but we think that’s too much work for the little payoff! This is one of our favorite money-making methods and our mom does it all the time, so go ahead and sign up here.

9) Become a Virtual Assistant

If you have a background in a specific field, whether it be photography or web design, many sites may be willing to pay for your expertise. The trick is knowing where to look and when you should steer clear of opportunities. Becoming a virtual assistant is ideal for someone who has strong organizational skills and prior experience with an office environment. Because many of these positions are available through contract companies, they can often include health benefits, vacation time, and other perks. One such company is Fortinet Virtual Services.

10) Get Paid To Drive With Uber or Lyft

Uber and Lyft are two of the most popular car services available. If you already have a driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record you can make extra money by signing up with one or both of these companies. Simply download their app, create an account, complete your personal information, and start looking for customers. Uber is currently worth around $50 billion so it may be worth taking advantage of if you have some spare time! Lyft has received about $4 billion in funding so far.
